The Giving Marketplace was initiated by the National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) as a networking platform to connect corporations and Non-Government Organisations (NGO)/Not-for-Profit organisations (NPO) to explore volunteer opportunity. More than 100 NGO/NPO participated in the event which was held on 1 March 2017 at The Art House.

The Public Hygiene Council (PHC) leveraged the session to raise awareness on the Keep Singapore Clean (KSC) Movement and engaged several corporations such as Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA), MSD International GmbH (SG Branch), City Gas Pte Ltd, Nike Singapore and Very Special Arts Singapore on the annual clean-up exercise ‘Keep Clean, Singapore!’ in May 2017.
