The Public Hygiene Council (PHC) activated more than 200 volunteers from the Lions Club of Singapore Mandarin and NEA’s Litter-Free Ambassadors to conduct litter-free outreach for the New Year’s Eve Countdown on 31 Dec 2018 at the Marina Bay Waterfront.

Besides actively engaging the public to remind them to bin their trash responsibly, volunteers also conducted litter-picking activities at the end of the event to demonstrate through their actions, that keeping Singapore clean is everyone’s responsibility.
