Keep Clean, Singapore! 2019 engagement

Mar 05, 2019

The Public Hygiene Council (PHC), as part its ongoing engagement with key stakeholders, organised annual networking sessions with the town councils and public agencies to share flagship initiatives such as the Keep Clean, Singapore! campaign and Sustainable Bright Spot programme.

PHC Chairman, Mr Edward D’Silva, reiterated that Singaporeans’ over-reliance on cleaners would not be sustainable due to the aging workforce and policy of reducing influx of low-skilled foreign workers. Strong support was obtained from the stakeholders to partner PHC in cultivating the positive social value of binning trash conscientiously and establishing the norm of not littering.
