Keep Singapore Clean Movement builds its champions network

Jun 27, 2019

The Public Hygiene Council (PHC) launched the R.I.S.E. (Reach.Inspire.Synergise.Empower.) champions network on 14 March 2019 with 24 organisations from the environment, social, education and youth sectors. By the second meeting on 27 June 2019, the network had grown to 32 members.

R.I.S.E. is a coalition of organisations that are committed to drive the Keep Singapore Clean Movement. R.I.S.E. partners share the vision of creating a Singapore where everyone has the deeply held value of keeping public spaces clean. They aim to shape a culture where everyone is expected to dispose trash correctly and clean up after themselves as acts of graciousness to others and consideration for environmental sustainability. Their passion is to protect and preserve the environment by keeping it pristine, beautiful and sustainable.
