Promoting the value of keeping Singapore clean to industry stakeholders

Sep 06, 2019

The Public Hygiene Council (PHC) continues its engagement with different stakeholder groups by organising two dialogue sessions with the cleaning industry and sporting event organisers on 3 and 6 September 2019 respectively.

First mooted in 2016, PHC regularly organises such intimate dialogues with different stakeholder groups to gain deeper insights into the unique challenges faced by different industries in promoting the value of Keeping Singapore Clean.

The recently held dialogues were well represented by key players of the respective stakeholder groups with close to 30 representatives attending the two events. The industry-centric dialogues also allowed for in-depth discussions into complex issues such as the shortage of cleaners in the future, and the need for a mindset change to make keeping public spaces clean a deeply held value among Singaporeans.
