A Sunday morning keeping Nee Soon South clean

Sep 15, 2019

The Public Hygiene Council (PHC) continues its longstanding partnership with Nee Soon South residents by joining in for the “Hold on And Bin It (H.A.B.I.T)” monthly litter picking activities around the Nee Soon South constituency on Sunday 15 September 2019. Grassroots Advisor Er Dr Lee Bee Wah also rolled up her sleeves and got involved with the litter picking during the session.

Approximately 100 residents living around the area spent their Sunday morning picking litter from the nearby carparks and void decks and encouraging their fellow residents to keep the area clean and hygienic. In light of recent dengue fever cases around Singapore, residents also helped to clear stagnant pools of water they found around the area.
