Cessation of the SG Clean Quality Mark

The SG Clean Quality Mark was launched in February 2020 as a proactive response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The objective was to rally businesses to uphold good hygiene practices, and instil wider confidence in Singaporeans to support local enterprises. More than 36,000 premises have been certified since the inception of the scheme, which is currently administered by the Public Hygiene Council (PHC).

As Singapore returns to normalcy, the SG Clean Quality Mark will also be discontinued upon its scheduled expiry on 30 June 2023. Good hygiene practices should be continued to safeguard wider public health. The PHC have developed a checklist to guide businesses in practising good environmental hygiene routines. We encourage all premises operators to make use of this checklist to maintain good hygiene standards.
