Every great speaker begins with a voice that believes it can make a difference.
The Public Hygiene Council (PHC) is delighted to invite primary schools across Singapore to take part in the Keep Singapore Clean Public Speaking Competition 2027. Organised in partnership with the Ministry of Education (MOE) and the Speak Good English Movement, this competition provides an exciting platform for students to grow as confident communicators while championing an important cause - keeping Singapore clean.
Through the theme “Every Small Action Counts: How I Can Help Keep Singapore Clean”, students will discover that even the smallest everyday actions can make a meaningful difference to our community. As they research, write and deliver their speeches, they will strengthen their public speaking skills, develop critical thinking and creativity, and deepen their understanding of civic responsibility and environmental stewardship.
