In conjunction with the First Aid Championships 2017 held at Bedok Town Square on 4 March, the Public Hygiene Council (PHC) showcased the Keep Singapore Clean Movement to raise awareness amongst Red Cross members and the public on keeping Singapore clean. Participants enthusiastically took part in the ‘Quick Pick’ activity and experienced the difficulty in picking up litter after others. They also realised the need to take personal responsibility in keeping the community spaces clean.

We were heartened to know that many of them had gone the extra mile in their daily life to remind others not to litter!

The PHC looks forward to work hand in hand with the Red Cross Youth to groom its members as advocates for a clean Singapore.
